Launched in 2016 by Tom Ford and composed by David Apel and Pierre Negrin, Black Orchid (Solid Perfume) opens with black truffle, blackcurrant, ylang-ylang and bergamot, turns to black orchid, floral notes, fruity notes and lotus wood at the heart and dries down to balsam, frankincense, patchouli and sandalwood. Its main accords are creamy, resinous, spicy, woody and earthy.
