Launched in 1989 by Romeo Gigli and composed by Sophie Labbé, Romeo (Extrait de Parfum) opens with bergamot, citrus fruits, mandarin orange and asafoetida, turns to carnation, freesia, jasmine and lily of the valley at the heart and dries down to benzoin, frankincense, sandalwood and orris root.
