Launched in 1979 by Jean-Louis Scherrer, Jean-Louis Scherrer (Eau de Toilette) opens with galbanum, blackcurrant bud, Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian tangerine, turns to florentine iris, Bulgarian rose and jasmine absolute at the heart and dries down to oakmoss, Bourbon vetiver, patchouli and Mysore sandalwood. Its main accords are chypre, green, floral, spicy and woody.
