Launched in 1974 by Gucci and composed by Guy Robert, No 1 (Parfum) opens with aldehydes, bergamot, green notes and hyacinth, turns to carnation, heliotrope, iris and jasmine at the heart and dries down to oakmoss, ambergris, benzoin and cedar. Its main accords are spicy, woody, chypre, floral and oriental.
